The Massacre....
I really think that this was a powerful topic because of what wildlife it involved. The book is called Kruger Park Massacre which in summary explains how the goverment is planning to kill 65 hundred elephants. They say the reason for this killing are the enormous population of elephants, and damage to the trees due to the elephants. You can really see that the author really took a firm stance against the killings. I believe that it is wrong for us to play god. Her book makes me want to get involved with the fight against killing these animals. I like how lisa argued about destroying the biodiversity of not only the park, but the world. She explained this in one of her paragraphs saying, "These elephants are a part of a symbiosis, and they belong here. Man cannot continue to interfere with this life process, because we are all a life support to each another." i think in this book Lisa shows a lot of emotion in defending these creatures. In reading her book i can see that she wants to really help these animals and try to find another way to stop this from happening. i believe this issue should be resloved because killing 50% of a population is crazy. Lisa had my attention making us aware of this situation and I can tell that in her book she tries to express her emotions on those very book pages.
