response to advertisers dream

I really enjoyed reading this book because of its topic. Advertisment is all around us it seems at all times. When we turn on the TV we see commercials, and when we turn on the radio we hear commercials. The author of this book, Mike Miller caught the grasp on how advertisment traps us in his first couple of paragraphs in telling what seems to be a short story on breast implants. advertisment sells things of that nature, telling young people whats cool, and what to wear. But by reading his book I learned that I myself am a victim of advertisement. I listen and see whats cool to wear or what girls like. and i think that Mike summarized that well in his section called "Sex Sells". Mike tells what part sex has to do in selling a product. We as people i feel are sexual beings. We all need that fufilled as it says in Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Sexual commercials entice that. Also, he focuses on how advertisers focus on the youth. i feel that it is true because at young ages we are more prone to be what I would say brainwashed. i really liked how Mike expanded ideas on a broad subject and for that i would reccomend a read.
