Review: The Black and White Code

Reading Vanessa Hernandez's book "The Discrimination & The Hate Amongst Our Children In Our Public Schools..." I feel that this is a big issue in America. Being a person that has went to a school that had no minorities i feel that there is a connection on discrimination and where you go to school at. Ive witnessed and been a part of a racial slur by other classmates. It really can affect how a person thinks. I also like the part where Ms. Hernandez explains the travesty going on with reformed delinquents not getting their education. I feel that it is a catch 22, for example we want children to better themselves with education, but kids who were in jail are not allowed in some schools and can't recieve a proper education. I reccomend a read for this book.
