Review: FCC Freedom Censored Country
FCC Freedom Censored Country was written by Nicholas Nicolella. Published in New Haven Connecticut with Southern Connecticut. This is a work of nonfiction. Mr. Nicolella’s over all point is in regard to the protection of our first amendment particularly when it comes to freedom of speech, primarily in media. I believe that many good points were raised, but the problems, qhich was noted, all are rooted in the past and how people today want others to see us as Americans.I liked how Mr. Nicolella incorporated things learned from Eng. 112.29 in his paper when speaking about the meaning of literacy and the what those in power are defining it and how it reflects on us.This book was an very interesting and informative. I never really thought about the FCC until the subject was breeched by Mr. Nicolella. I believe that unfortunately that the 1st amendment is one that gives way to many interpretations and that those, whether they are modern are not will never please everyone.
